GALWAY RACES – BONNETS, BREAST CANCER AND BEATEN FAVOURITES

The Irish National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI) held an afternoon fundraiser in advance of an evening race meeting at the famous (infamous!) Galway Races. While eating lunch we were treated to a fashion display of bonnets made by five of Irelands up-and-coming milliners, Fiona Mangan, Andrea Tighe, Mary White, Suzie Mahony and Caitriona King, all following hot in the giant steps of Galway man Phillip Treacy. Money was raised, the fashion was uplifting and a great time in support of a very worthy cause was had by all.
